Swap Cards from February Demo Get-Together

March 23, 2008

I didn’t get many of the swap cards from our February demonstrator get-together posted to my blog and our March get-together is this week.  Here are a few of them:  Artists are Mary G, Deb Y and Cheri D.  Awesome cards ladies!

Swap Card by Diane

February 18, 2008

Due to my thumb, I wasn’t able to get my swaps completed for our November demo get together.  Then, it was cancelled at the last minute due to a winter storm and icy roads.  I swapped with a few gals that still had cards left in January.  Here is the card I received from Diane.  The theme of the swap was using the FREE level 3 hostess set we received as a gift from Stampin’ Up!  Yeah!  Thanks! Stampin’ Up!  I LOVE free stamps!  Time Well Spent is a awesome set and Diane did a superb job with her card.  You can view the set in Stampin’ Up!s online catalog here.

Swap Card by Shauna

February 7, 2008

Shauna is an awesome stamper!  This was her swap card at our January demonstrator get-together.  She used one of our Sale-A-Bration sets, So Many Scallops.  It was specifically designed to be used with Stampin’ Up!s scallop punch.  Way cool!!!  The Designer Series Paper is from the current In Color series, Sky Blue, which will only be available until the Spring-Summer Collection 2008 expires.  Using two coordianting colors of cardstock with the Photo Corners punch and three gold brads gives her card such a "put together" look.

Swap Card by Dawn

February 5, 2008

This was fellow demonstrator Dawn’s swap card from our January demo get-together.  She used Happy Heart Day, one of my new FAVORITES.  She stamped the elephant on Basic Gray and trimmed it out and attached it to her Whisper White layer.  It is hard to see, but the heart flowers and the flower with the heart center all are covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  Thanks for such an AWESOME card Dawn!

Final December Stamp Club Project – Christmas Card

December 18, 2007

Here is the final item we made for December stamp club last week.  Lori was very gracious in sharing her Punch Pals set for the snowman.  Love this card.

Christmas Gift Tag

December 15, 2007

This is the Christmas gift tag we made a stamp club.  I love Stampin’ Up!s punches.  Can you tell.  The body uses 1", 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circles.  The arms are from the snow blossom, the hat uses the 3/4" square and a portion of the 1 3/4" square.  The red band is using a portion of the 3/4" square.Img_4316  The pieces for the face are from the double circle punch.  I also used the round tab and tag corner punches.  To give it that "finished" look, I added a white eyelet with the Crop-A-Dile and an accent of red and white grosgrain ribbon.

November Projects

November 14, 2007

We had fun this month creating many projects using Stampin’ Up!s line of Designer Series Paper (page 170 – 173).  Yes, the ones that are buy 3 get 1 FREE all during November.  Wahoo.  We love FREE Stampin’ Up! product.  The chocolate holder is a mini version of the one from the recent Paper Crafts magazine.  This one uses a 5 inch square of the Holiday Harmony paper.  The criss cross card uses double sided paper from the Simply Scrappin’ – Winter Bright kit.  The file folder card is an almost direct CASE from our October demonstrator meeting.  (Thanks for sharing Sue!!!)  I love the Purely Pomegranate card stock with the Holiday Harmony designer series paper.  I ordered more DSP, #1 because it’s only available through November and #2) it is part of this month’s paper promotion.  The paper gift bow was made using Stampin’ Up!s Blizzard designer wrapping paper, again available only through November.  It looks good all by itself and on the wrapping paper itself.  A tutorial for the paper bow by Jessica Crawford is available at SplitCoastStampers – Paper Bow Tutorial.Img_4082_c Img_4083_c Img_4084_c Img_4088_c Img_4089_c Img_4091_c
