Altered Memo Clip (Photo Clip)

October 25, 2008

It is a slow start to getting more of my personal stamping done, but I altered this memo clip last night.  Because of the color of the cube itself, I did use retired Marigold Morning ink and card stock.  But when it didn’t turn out exactly as planned, I could have used any colors.  I purchased the clip from the school supply section of my local OfficeMax store.  The cube is approximately 1″ square.

Swap Card by Sue

February 7, 2008

Sue made these cards for our January demo get-together swaps.  I love the set Embrace Life.  At first I wasn’t going to even consider getting it because I have toooo much floral now.  I need more masculine.  But, with all the AWESOME samples I have been seeing, I ordered it, received and need to mount it so I can create with it.

November Projects

November 14, 2007

We had fun this month creating many projects using Stampin’ Up!s line of Designer Series Paper (page 170 – 173).  Yes, the ones that are buy 3 get 1 FREE all during November.  Wahoo.  We love FREE Stampin’ Up! product.  The chocolate holder is a mini version of the one from the recent Paper Crafts magazine.  This one uses a 5 inch square of the Holiday Harmony paper.  The criss cross card uses double sided paper from the Simply Scrappin’ – Winter Bright kit.  The file folder card is an almost direct CASE from our October demonstrator meeting.  (Thanks for sharing Sue!!!)  I love the Purely Pomegranate card stock with the Holiday Harmony designer series paper.  I ordered more DSP, #1 because it’s only available through November and #2) it is part of this month’s paper promotion.  The paper gift bow was made using Stampin’ Up!s Blizzard designer wrapping paper, again available only through November.  It looks good all by itself and on the wrapping paper itself.  A tutorial for the paper bow by Jessica Crawford is available at SplitCoastStampers – Paper Bow Tutorial.Img_4082_c Img_4083_c Img_4084_c Img_4088_c Img_4089_c Img_4091_c
