It is a slow start to getting more of my personal stamping done, but I altered this memo clip last night. Because of the color of the cube itself, I did use retired Marigold Morning ink and card stock. But when it didn’t turn out exactly as planned, I could have used any colors. I purchased the clip from the school supply section of my local OfficeMax store. The cube is approximately 1″ square.
For my version of the Deer Friends waterfall card, I used:
Base – Confetti White card stock
1st Layer – 4" X 5 1/4" Garden Green card stock
Strip Layer - 4 1/4" x 7/8" Real Red card stock
Large Square – 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"Sage Shadow card stock
Medium Square – 2" x 2" Garden Green card stock
Stampin' Up! Scallop Circle Punch - Handsome Hunter CS
Stampin' Up! 1 3/8" Circle Punch – Real Red card stock
Stampin' Up! 1 1/4" Circle Punch – Confetti White CS
(stamp & color before punching)
Mechanism Strip – 1 3/4" x 8 3/8" Garden Green card stock
Scored at 4 3/4" + 1" + 1"
(adhered to real red strip layer with sticky strip)
Place the sticky strip on the inside of the top half and attach to front of the real red strip
2 gold brads & 1 gold eyelet with red & white gingham ribbon
Here is my waterfall card from our recent Red Lodge Mini Convention. At the end should be download links for two different instructions. I’ll post the dimensions for my card either after the high school cross town rivalry game tonight or in the morning.
