Due to my thumb, I wasn’t able to get my swaps completed for our November demo get together. Then, it was cancelled at the last minute due to a winter storm and icy roads. I swapped with a few gals that still had cards left in January. Here is the card I received from Diane. The theme of the swap was using the FREE level 3 hostess set we received as a gift from Stampin’ Up! Yeah! Thanks! Stampin’ Up! I LOVE free stamps! Time Well Spent is a awesome set and Diane did a superb job with her card. You can view the set in Stampin’ Up!s online catalog here.
I had a customer looking for a retired set. I made this card to send the payment in. Thanks, Jill, for making your set available for my gal. The card uses one of Stampin’ Up!’s 2008 Sale-A-Bration sets, So Many Scallops. You can view the entire mini catalog here. Since I love punches, this set is right up my alley. My goal with designing this card was to use only "scraps". I surprised myself by making the entire card from pieces out of my scrap boxes. I keep three colors of cardstock in an empty box from mailing labels. I made the card to fit a no. 6 envelope.
I am featuring yet another swap card from our January demo get-together. Cheri used the Embrace Life set. I wasn’t going to get this set as I have a good selection of floral and need more masculine sets. With the awesome projects I have seen, I purchased the set. Now, to get time to mount it and get creative or simply CASE the wonderful projects I have seen. Thanks, Cheri!
Sue made these cards for our January demo get-together swaps. I love the set Embrace Life. At first I wasn’t going to even consider getting it because I have toooo much floral now. I need more masculine. But, with all the AWESOME samples I have been seeing, I ordered it, received and need to mount it so I can create with it.
Shauna is an awesome stamper! This was her swap card at our January demonstrator get-together. She used one of our Sale-A-Bration sets, So Many Scallops. It was specifically designed to be used with Stampin’ Up!s scallop punch. Way cool!!! The Designer Series Paper is from the current In Color series, Sky Blue, which will only be available until the Spring-Summer Collection 2008 expires. Using two coordianting colors of cardstock with the Photo Corners punch and three gold brads gives her card such a "put together" look.
This was fellow demonstrator Dawn’s swap card from our January demo get-together. She used Happy Heart Day, one of my new FAVORITES. She stamped the elephant on Basic Gray and trimmed it out and attached it to her Whisper White layer. It is hard to see, but the heart flowers and the flower with the heart center all are covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Thanks for such an AWESOME card Dawn!
