Christmas In June

June 28, 2007

I am working on convention swaps to take to Denver.  I’m not sure I like this one enough to make too many.  This card is made using one of our new Level 2 hostess sets called Perfect Presentation.  The background is with Baroque Motifs.  I love having both sizes of tag punches to make it easy to add layers to the tags.Img_9059_sml_c_2

New Hostess Set – In The Spotlight

June 28, 2007

I made these cards using the One Sheet Wonder or Double Time technique.  I stamped randomly on Whisper White card stock with the new 08 In Color inks.  Base of card is Purely Pomegranate card stock and the larger circle was punched out of Wild Wasabi card stock.  My inspiration was taken directly from Diane at ddstamps.com Click here to view Diane’s blog. New Hostess Set Project by Diane

June 23, 2007

I had several demonstrators over on Monday night to work on our convention swaps — Denver, here we come!!!  Diane stamped images in various colors on Whisper White card stock and took them home with her.  My challenge to her was to use the one with the River Rock ink and card stock.  I’m not sure she is finished with that one yet.  But, here is what she has so far.  Very awesome Diane!!!Diane_c Diane_closeup_c_crp Click on the thumnails below for a larger size to view.

June Project with an Option

June 12, 2007

I can’t remember who first shared this idea for using the slit punch to create an awesome "flower" border for a card or scrapbook page. There are several good tutorials out there now.  Tonight, my gals had the choice of the flower from Looks Like Spring or using the Floral background stamp with Versamark and Micropearl Pearl Ex powder.Img_8983_c_sml

Another June Project

June 12, 2007

This new Jumbo wheel is part of a new hostess set combo.  The medallion is made using the square steps corner punch with a 2 inch square of the new designer series paper that was available so far only during the May Palette O’Prints promotion.

June Projects

The first two are both 3×3 cards and are directly from the Stampin’ Up! demo web site workshop wizard.  One uses the new 2008 In Color Wild Wasabi card stock.  The other uses the new double-sided Prints Designer Series Paper Sky Blue.
