January Projects

January 13, 2007

Here are my January projects.

Img_4986_cThis was my very easy starter using Sahara Sand card stock, Desiger Series Loves Me paper, Big Pieces, Taggers Dozen and both sizes of the tag punches.  The background is stamped using VersaMark.  I have not been a big fan of using staples as embellishments.  So, this card actually took me out of my comfort zone a little bit.  I think this designer paper is AWESOME.  And typing this reminds me of the "gift" can I made with a different style from this paper and I forgot to take a picture of it.  So, I guess that will get added next week.

Img_4982_c_closed                          I wanted tImg_4983_c_open_1o do a double slider card.  My sister-in-law and I made some in October (and into November and December before they were all finished).  Again, using the Loves Me paper!!!  I wanted to keep the card simple and using only currently available products.  Then, of course, when I finished, I found the directions on SplitCoastStampers.  I didn’t use the little circles attached to the dimensionals, but the card still functions.  The following picture is of the Halloween card using all the punches and very little stamping.

Img_4980_c As you can see, it was a little more labor intensive.  Here is the link to the tutorial at SplitCoastStampershttp://www.splitcoaststampers.com:80/resources/doubleslidercard.php

Welcome 2007

January 1, 2007

I love Stampin’ Up!’s new Pocket Note Cards.  They are awesome.  Hopefully by the end of the week I will get some added made with the vanilla and chocolate chip as well.

Best Wishes to you for 2007!
